Each suit contains cards numbered from 1 to 7, plus three face cards: knave (8), knight (9), and king (10). For those without access to an Italian deck, a standard 52-card deck can be adapted by removing 8s, 9s, and 10s.<\/p>\n<h3>Game Setup<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Players: 2-4 (playing individually or in teams)<\/li>\n<li>Deal four cards to each player and place four cards face-up on the table.<\/li>\n<li>The remainder of the deck is placed aside as a draw pile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Objective<\/h3>\n<p>The primary goal in Scopa is to score points by &#8220;sweeping&#8221; cards from the table.
